We are excited to be planning the Toni Saylor Summer Concert Series for 2024! Part of the planning involves reaching out to area community-minded businesses, groups or individuals as sponsors for this popular summer event.
As a $1000-$3000 sponsor, you receive advertising benefits on our website, social media platforms and printed materials. Sponsors will also have a full color 2×3 metal sign of your logo and contact information posted throughout the series beside the stage. Your contribution is combined with grant money received to book a variety of quality bands and groups over the course of 10 to 11 weeks. Sponsorships and donations are vital to the success of the Toni Saylor summer Concert Series, and we appreciate your consideration!
The concert series has gone through a number of changes over the years, however, it has been a part of our summer-time events at War Memorial Park since the 1970’s. It was in 1990 that an official ’sponsor’ was obtained and the weekly summer music in the park began. The most recent change to the series came in 2013 when it was renamed to The Toni Saylor Summer Concert Series in honor of long-time employee, Toni Saylor, who passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer in 2012. Toni held the series close to her heart and put great effort into its success each year.
The Toni Saylor Summer Concert Series is FREE for everyone to attend. It is held every Thursday evening from 7:00pm-8:30pm throughout the summer at our War Memorial Main Pavilion stage. Our goal is to provide a variety of great live music for the community in a beautiful park setting. While some of our bands join us each year, we also like to add new talent to the mix as well. Our concert attendees cover all ages and come from not only here in Berkeley County, but surrounding counties and states as well. We have bleacher-style seating, pavilions and picnic tables nearby. You can also bring your own outdoor chairs for comfort. The concession stand is open to provide snacks for purchase or visitors are welcome to bring their own picnic to enjoy before or during the show.
