COVID-19 Coronavirus UPDATES || (March 24, 2020) At this time our public parks are open for use, with some restrictions. We know the physical and mental heath benefits that these open space can provide and encourage you to get outside and move, exercise, explore and enjoy. However, let’s all do so with the safety of others and ourselves in mind. The National Recreation and Park Association has provided these recommendation reminders if you decide to take an outdoor break during this time. It is important to maintain the social distancing of 6′ between yourself and others.
**Please note: Use of playground equipment is prohibited, basketball hoops and volleyball nets have been temporarily removed, and restrooms (with the exception of portables) and water fountains are NOT AVAILABLE at this time. Pavilions in all of our parks are closed until further notice when the order has been lifted by the Governor. We suggest bringing hand sanitizing wipes or gel with you.
We take great pride in providing clean, safe parks and facilities for our community. With locations spread throughout Martinsburg/Berkeley, we invite families to come out and enjoy a day at the park. Whether you would like to join a league or take part in one of our programs, our parks are utilized to its fullest to give our community somewhere to play and enjoy the outdoors.
